This synthesizer was used extensively in Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds".
It got its name after "Thunderchild", an Ironclad warship from the book.
It is the machine that was used for the distinctive song "Forever Autumn",
although there is some debate if this was double tracked or played in one take.
The synth has attracted almost legendary status and there were probably only ever a few made.
I found this picture a few years back, but that seems to be about it.
